20070210 beep

my asus a8n-sli deluxe decided to start beeping like crazy today. it was 5 beeps with a kind of small pause after the second.
did the obvious google dance and didn't anything very usefull so i went in!
basicly it went away after i nudged chipset fan (which i installed myself! aren't you proud ?). it probably did that too when the stock fan was dying but i didn't have a squeaker attached at the time so it's just a guess.

discovered Mail.app imap-idle bundle. horrah.
you know, sometime i should do a good capture of mail.app imap and tell apple how to fix it ...

Bill Gates dixit
"When somebody comes to us [after discovering a vulnerability] we've got [a fix] before there is any exploit"
"Nowadays, security guys break the Mac every single day. Every single day, they come out with a total exploit, your machine can be taken over totally. I dare anybody to do that once a month on the Windows machine."
"Let's be realistic, who came up with [the] file, edit, view, help [menu bar]? Do you want to go back to the original Mac and think about where those interface concepts came from?"
"We've had this incredible desktop search [available for download] that won every review,"

What is Bill on ? and more important, where can I get some ???
