The Week in Review 43W2008
Some guys in Korea claim to have found an efficient and mostly viable way to make H2 from H2O. If this is true it means you’ll be able to conveniently charge your nonexistant fuel cell.
It wasn’t a secret Nokia was working on Qt for a number of platforms and this week this released the first Qt tech preview for S60. Too bad Qt is yucky. On more S60 news, Sony-Ericsson noticed what everybody knew for ages now and killed UIQ in favour of S60.
The big news this week was Google releasing Android source. Hopefully someone with a lot of free time will now port it to the Palm T|X and make mine a viable web pad again. On a side note, Google rebooted the Android App store and is giving its 30% cut to the carriers for their trouble. Take that Apple, or something.
This week in stupidity, the EFF figured out the printer ID dots, the new US RFID supply chain is a security joke and Sequoia is just as bad as Diebold so study up on how to rig the election kids.
